Winter Catch Up: Part 1

I have been duly chided for my slacker blogging ways and will now dutifully play catch up.

My mom came for a visit with my awesome nephew and we took them to NYC.

Gwen wasn't very impressed.  We checked out Times Square and saw the King Tut exhibit on the first day.  The second we took the Staten Island Ferry to Manhattan and explored the Wall Street area.

Isaac turned 7 and lost his two front teeth.

Dan made an ugly, painted, brick fireplace into a beautiful stone fireplace and we got a picture with all the kids smiling, sort of.  Gwen has decided that a leotard is a smart outfit choice for winter....she wears it daily.

Hannah, Isaac and Ian all managed to stay awake until midnight to ring in the new year.

Dan inadvertently thumb wrestled the table saw.
Table saw: 1
Dan: 0
Surgeon: $$$$$

That's pretty much the story of our winter up through January.

She's back!!!

I hate getting behind on blogging because it's so hard to remember everything, but you did a marvelous job! I love the birthday cake (pretty sure I'll copy it next year for Emerson) but hate the thumb--ouch!
