Science Fair

The kids did their very first science fair today and had a great time. Isaac soaked teeth (real human teeth) in various liquids to see which ones are bad for your teeth. Soda is bad and milk is good, who knew?

Hannah's project was to find out if the reason you can't throw batteries and car oil away. Her hypothesis was that they are bad for plants. Turns out you can throw away batteries and they really aren't that bad for plants. Oil however turned the plants slimey and dead.
We were at the Empire Plaza in downtown Albany with around 30 other homeschoolers showing off their experiments. Lots of people stopped by to ask questions.

Hannah loved telling people about her project and was really sad when it was time to go. I think she's already brainstorming about what she will do for next year.

What awesome projects! Science Fairs are a lot of work, but worth the effort. Way to go Hannah and Isaac!
