We sat on the grass in front of the chairs and directly in front of the stage. It was a little too close to see everything, but close enough to feel the heat from the flames that shoot up from the stage.
Costumed participants greet you as you come in and help you carry any stuff. They are also happy to pose for pictures. Isaac was the only kid who didn't want his picture with the actors.
Chillin on the blankets having a snack while waiting for the show to start.
Ian and I with some Nephite soldiers.
The guy on the right is King Noah and I think the guy on the left is King Benjamin. I have no idea who the middle guy is but his costume looked impressive. I was really amazed at what a huge production it was.

That sounds SO FUN! Aaron and I went when Theo was about 1, and while it was definitely a great place to run into random people, I'm pretty sure the stories didn't exactly sink in. It must have been so awesome for your kids! Book of Mormon! Alive! Seriously, can't beat that.
I remember when we went that I thought it was so crazy to have so many Mormons in one place--out in the middle of nowhere on the east coast!
