This kept the kids very entertained one afternoon after school while I made dinner, but now I need more toothpicks.
The weather here is finally warming up and we have been spending tons of time outside. We now have some corn growing in the garden and four new fruit trees and two raspberries in the backyard. I couldn't really do much gardening in Flagstaff and I'm so excited to get to grow things here. Now, if I could just keep the bunnies that live in the woods behind the house from eating all my stuff. Any suggestions?

This is too funny! This looks like the little things Matt would make with his O-Chem kit! That is awesome you are getting your kids interested in Organic Chemistry at such a young age! Dan has raised you well (to raise your kids like this).
Matt adds "Make sure you teach them how to push arrows." I don't know, I never took the class!
Cool idea. But unfortunately I have no idea how to keep the rabbits out. Good luck though. Fruit trees and raspberries sound so yummy. I might have to play bunny one day.
Mm-kay, those are awesome. Too bad my kids would eat all the marshmallows before they could make anything cool.
Remember our garden in Ohio? Everyone had problems with squirrels (ie., Meryl, Earl, and Mr. Friendly) rabbits, and raccoons getting in their veggies. I learned that if you plant marigolds around the edge of the garden these animals won't go through them. Don't know why, but it works, and it's rather pretty too. PS. Gwen has your eyes. Can't wait to see them for real.
