The kids thought it would be fun to stay up til midnight to ring in the new year.
Dan and I thought it would be fun to see just how long each one could stay up.
Gwen went to bed at 7:00 as usual. We aren't that mean.
Ian may as well have gone to bed at his usual time. He might have made it longer. He was out at 8:30 (normal bedtime 8:00) in a little fort he made on the couch.
Isaac made it all the way to 11:00. He tried so hard, but just couldn't keep those eyes open. I can't believe he fell asleep while we were watching Elf.
Hannah did it!!! Click on this one to enlarge it because the look on her face is priceless. She slept in quite late the next day.
That was the funnest and funniest New Years I've ever had. I can't wait to do it again.

Wow, you guys are hard-core. We sort of tried. Then we tricked the kids that when the ball dropped in NYC it was midnight here too. Too bad you LIVE in NY!

Hey, Hannah stayed up later than we did. So did Isaac. We did stay up later than Gwen and Ian though. Hannah looks like if she blinks she'll be asleep. Too cute!
