When the kids came into our room on Christmas morning to ask if they could go downstairs, I told them we could go after I got Gwen out of her crib. As soon as I picked Gwen up I heard the other kids run downstairs as fast as they could. The next sound I heard was paper ripping. Dan and I hurried down so we wouldn't miss the fun.
Some memorable moments.
Ian was excited to get a box of wipes from Grandma Gayle. No really, he was actually excited about a box of wipes. He was even more excited when he opened it and saw it had toys in it.
Isaac and Hannah especially thought the money from Grams and Grandpa was great.
"Since they sent me money, I'm going to wish them a Merry Christmas." - Isaac
Gwen liked playing with everyone elses presents more than her own.
Dan took the kids outside to make a snowman....I think he was hoping it would help dinner get done faster.
Dan and I were the only ones looking forward to Christmas dinner. The kids aren't big fans of turkey or stuffing. What is wrong with them? The kids at least like mashed potatoes.
Ian is already asking when Christmas is coming next.

Soooo cute!
We weren't fans of having ANOTHER turkey (it's what--a month after Thanksgiving??) at Christmas, so we do fancy schmancy enchiladas instead. It keeps everyone happy (except the one kid who thinks they're too spicy--don't know what gene pool she pulled that out of).
